Knoxville Area Transit Bus Passes
The Central Ticket Office sells Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) bus passes at a discount for UT Students, Faculty, and Staff.
Note: No pass is required to ride "The T" on campus.
Special UT Discounts
- Freshmen ride free fall semester on all KAT Bus Routes! (Passes will be mailed to your home address before school starts.)
- UT Transit Pass: $35/semester ($20/summer semester) for UT students, faculty & staff, includes all bus routes. What a bargain! (Must show UT IDs to purchase pass and show UT ID along with pass to ride buses.)

- Elderly and Disabled - 60¢ / transfer 10¢ (with KAT photo ID or Medicare card)
