Educational Administration and Supervision Program

The Educational Administration and Supervision (EAS) Program is part of the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education (TPTE) in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. The University of Tennessee has been a leader in the preparation of educational leaders for PreK-12 schools in Tennessee and the southeast. The first doctoral degree was conferred in 1950. The Educational Administration and Supervision Program is a founding member of the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA), a consortium of leading research universities from across the nation that are actively engaged in the preparation of educational leaders. Our programs are NCATE and SACS approved.
