Post-Doctoral Research Associate: B.Sc. in Chemistry from University
of Poitiers, France, in 1998; M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Wood Science from The Laboratoire
de Chimie des Substances Végétales, University of Bordeaux I,
France, in 1999 and 2002 respectively. Joined the Tennessee Forest Products
Center at the University of Tennessee as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate
in October of 2002.
Research Interests: FTIR imaging to monitor penetration and diffusion of organic
components in fiberboard, Moisture content in wood by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
time-domain low resolution, wood-water interaction, water profile in green wood,
extractives in heartwood and sapwood of Maritime Pine.
