Ashleigh Moyer, Assistant Director

Ashleigh serves the Office of Student Activities as the advisor to the Cultural Attractions, Issues and Visual Arts Committees. A native of Johnson City, Tennessee, Ashleigh came to Knoxville in 1998 to pursue her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee.  In her time as an undergraduate, Ashleigh enjoyed serving on various student organizations and as a Resident Assistant. It was from these experiences that Ashleigh became interested in pursuing a career in higher education. Ashleigh received her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing in 2002 and a Masters of Public Administration in 2004, both from the University of Tennessee.

Prior to her position in the Office of Student Activities, Ashleigh worked as a Hall Director for the Department of University Housing and as an Academic Advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences at UT. Ashleigh’s professional areas of interest include; divisional collaboration/communication, teambuilding, university historical research and working with underrepresented student populations.

In her spare time she enjoys crafting, horseback riding, traveling, SEC football and spending time with her friends and family.
