signs for the public sphere

This project will consist of a series of ten different 12 x 18 inch white metal signs to be posted on sign posts around Knoxville during the 2015 SGC International Conference. Artists are asked to propose designs for the signs using a common template as an EPS file linked below. . The signs should respond to the theme “public sphere.” Designs selected for the project will be screenprinted in an edition of 4, with one sign to be retained by each participating artist A complete set of the signs will be saved for the University of Tennessee, and two of each design will be posted. Artists may submit up to three designs for consideration. All designs should be for a one color (black) run, and should be submitted as PDF files. Submissions should be emailed to: jvgatlin@gmail.com
