Jazz

Tights, stretch leggings (any length) or jazz pants

Tap I

 

Formfitting clothing which allows freedom of
movement.
Tie or buckled leather shoes with taps.

Tap II

Women

Leotard/unitard(any style)or formfitting dance wear
Tights with feet or socks
Character heels or Tap oxfords with Capezio Tele-tone or Master taps (toe and heel)

 

Men

Same clothing as for Tap I or formfitting dance wear
Tap oxford with Capezio Tele-tone or Master taps (toe and heel)

 

 

 

Note: Any substitution in apparel must be approved by the instructor and students not properly attired may not be permitted to take class.

Warm-up Clothing

Unless you are keeping an injured part of your body warm, wear only the dance clothes listed under each technique class. Instructors have authority to ask any student to remove unnecessary security warm-up clothing.

Jewelry

No obstructive jewelry should be worn in any technique class.

Hair

Hair must be neat and secured to head.

* No caps or hats may be worn unless specified by the instructor.
