Dr. Diane Klein
Teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in gerontology (aging) and public health. Supervises graduate and undergraduate students. Directs and coordinates the campus-wide graduate and undergraduate minors in gerontology. Has written numerous articles in scientific and lay journals in her areas of research interest, but predominantly focuses on the aging populations and functional status. Reviewer for several journals of papers in health promotion practice and various social and biological science areas of aging research. Areas of research interest are diverse and include: aging and physical activity; aging and wellness; community health; health education and health promotion; physical activity and adherence; physical activity in health and disease; social and behavioral health issues; and wellness education.
