Special Presentation by Apollo 17 Astronaut, Dr. Harrison (Jack) Schmitt


On November 18-19th, Dr. Harrison H. (Jack) Schmitt, Apollo 17 Astronaut, will visit us. Jack was the last person to step on the Moon in December, 1972; was the only scientist/geologist to go to the Moon, with 25 hours of fieldwork; was also a US Senator from New Mexico, after Apollo; is the head of the NASA Advisory Council; and will present the Howard Baker Luncheon Talk at Noon on the 19th at the UT Center, just after meeting with UH-100 undergraduate class.
