Partners Members Traveling to Arizona
for Super Bowl XLII
Dr. Polite leads UT Students to Arizona

Last Year's TEAM UT

 

Dr. Fritz Polite will lead a group of University of Tennessee Sport Management students into Arizona for an opportunity to gain experience at this year's Super Bowl. Five UT Sport Management graduate students, a Sport Management undergraduate student, and two dual MS/MBA students will spend nearly a week in Pheonix. The opportunity will give the students unique experience working with mega-event operations. The 12 member TEAM UT roster is rounded out with one MBA student and three undergraduates from the UT communications program. The students traveling to Arizona were chosen through an extensive application and interview process.

UT undergraduate student Justin Shaw will join graduate students Neil Bishop, Fraser Boyd, Chanel Lattimer, Kevin McMahon, and Zach Franz on the trip to Super Bowl XLII. Team UT is also composed of two dual degree MS/MBA students, Stephanie Dawkins and Chase Ellis. Dr. Fritz Polite will lead the sport management students along with three other students from the department of communications to Arizona in order to apply their skills to help setup and run various events at the Super Bowl.

TEAM UT will be leaving Knoxville on Tuesday, January 29th and returning the following Monday after the Super Bowl on February 4th. The opportunity is sure to give the TEAM UT members valuable professional experience that will allow them to compete at the highest level in the sports industry.
