God (Allah)

Islam is a faith that many orientlist classify as a 'strict monotheistic' religion.  This is due to the stress the religion gives on not associating partners with God.  The English term God is a near translation of the Arabic term Allah.  Allah is not solely the God of the Muslims, for even Arabic Christians use the term Allah.
