Lamination Services
The ISC offers three options for your lamination needs:
a self-laminator, a thermal-roll laminator and a document laminator.
Self-laminator
The self-laminator is a press lamination unit which is free to use.
There is a limit on size (items up to 16x20 inches) and it requires
more time
(one must allow for 15 minute warm-up and 30-45 seconds for each
pressing) Directions are posted by the self-laminator for your assistance.
Thermal-roll laminator
The thermal-roll laminator is the most used laminator in
the ISC. There is a 15 minute warm-up time for this laminator,
but the actual
process
only takes a few moments. Materials laminated with this machine
must be 25 inches in width or smaller, but there is no limit
on length.
There
is a $1.00 charge per linear foot for this service.
Document laminator
The document laminator is designed to laminate one piece
of paper at a time, either standard letter or legal size,
and
smaller luggage
tag size.
It takes about a minute for this laminator to heat up
and a few moments to laminate. There is a fee of $1.00
per page
for
this service,
however,
the lamination itself is a heavier grade of quality and
it is a much quicker process.
