MAXIMUM TIME LIMIT

What is the maximum time allowance for undergraduate financial recipients to complete their degree objective?

Maximum time is measured by semesters and credit hours, and depends on your degree objective. Financial aid recipients in most degree programs are eligible for financial aid for a maximum of 10 semesters or 180 credit hours, whichever comes first. If you are in a certified five year program, you are eligible for financial aid for a maximum of 12 semesters or 180 credit hours, whichever comes first.

All semesters and credit hours are counted toward the SAP maximum time allowance, regardless of whether you receive financial aid.

All attempted credit hours are considered toward the maximum time allowance, except courses in which the student received a grade of NR (No Record). Credit hours attempted during the summer session count toward the maximum credit hours allowance, but summer does not count as a semester toward the maximum semester allowance.
