EPA Pesticide Program Update from EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs 05/21/02 http://www.epa.gov/pesticides ************************************ IN THIS UPDATE: Drinking Water Meeting Includes Review of Standards for Certain Pesticides EPA's Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water has scheduled a public meeting on the six-year review of existing National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. on May 30 at the Washington Plaza Hotel, 10 Thomas Circle, NW,Washington, DC. The meeting will review preliminary findings of the review of 69 National Primary Drinking Water Regulations that were established before 1997. Several pesticides are included in the list of chemicals under review. This review is required by the Safe Drinking Water Act.
