IN THIS UPDATE:

DATES SET FOR PESTICIDE MEETINGS

EPA has set dates for several meetings related to pesticide issues,
including the cumulative risk assessment for the organophosphate
pesticides.  They are:

November 15 -- Technical Briefing on Food and Residential Exposure
Methodologies and Approaches to Integration of Multiple Pathways
of Exposure.  This meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Select,
King St., Alexandria, Virginia, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

November 16 -- Meeting of the CARAT (Committee to Advise on
Reassessment and Transition) Workgroup on Cumulative Risk
Assessment/Public Participation Process.  This meeting will be held at
EPA's offices at Crystal Mall #2, 1921 Jefferson Davis Highway,
Arlington, Virginia, in Room 1110 (the Fishbowl) from 9:00 a.m. to
12:00 p.m., to further discuss issues and questions resulting from the
November 15 technical briefing.

December 4-5 -- Meeting of the Pesticide Program Dialogue
Committee.  This meeting will be held at the Hilton Crystal City,
2399 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia.  The agenda will
be released when it is completed.

January 15, 2002 -- Technical Briefing on the Preliminary Cumulative
Risk Assessment.  The meeting will be held at the Hilton Alexandria
Old Town Hotel, Alexandria, Virginia, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

January 16, 2002 -- Meeting of the CARAT (Committee to Advise on
Reassessment and Transition) Workgroup on Cumulative Risk
Assessment/Public Participation Process.  This meeting will be held
at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town Hotel, Alexandria, Virginia, from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to further discuss issues and questions result-
ing from the January 15 technical briefing.
