Counselor Education Doctoral Program

Dissertation

Each student is required to complete a doctoral dissertation that fulfills the requirements and procedures at The University of Tennessee as set for in the Graduate Catalog, current edition. A minimum of 24 semester hours of ED 600 is required for the dissertation to be approved. The student must register continuously for ED 600 (minimum of 3 hours) from the time the doctoral research proposal is approved, admission to candidacy is accepted, or registration for course 600 is begun (see the catalog for more information about continuous registration.)
