  • As a service to school systems, assists with the interpretation of Tennessee Department of Education’s rules and regulations governing teacher licensure
  • Coordinates new student orientation for students pursuing teaching as a career, and coordinates the pre-intern orientations relative to licensure

    • Coordinates the undergraduate commencement ceremony for undergraduates students within the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.

    Ms. Mary Stormer

    • Provides administrative support to the teacher licensure coordinator and advisors
    • Coordinates the dissemination of the licensure paperwork to the State Board of Education
    • Serves a initial contact person to students who are interested in obtaining additional endorsements
